Rotasoc Achieves Worldwide Recognition

The Product Innovation Practice design team (formerly Indes Design Consultants) has been successful with their design of a unique and patented electrical distribution system.

	The Rotasoc System took first place in the 'Best Office Accessory, Fixture or Fitting' category at the FX award ceremony at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London. In addition, Rotasoc was judged 'head to head' with all other product category winners and was named runner-up for the Best Interior Design Product of the year. A fantastic accolade from the judges who hail from the design, specifier and architect fraternity who considered the Rotasoc System to be technically advanced yet outstandingly useful and practical in all workplace applications. 	In 2001, The Rotasoc power distribution system won the Plastics Consumer Product Design Award at the Society of Plastic Engineers Best Design Products Awards 2001 in Dallas, Texas. "The products most outstanding feature of the design was the ability of the sockets to rotate freely in any direction, allowing easier cable management."
	Rotasoc was judged runner up for the best new product at the Workplace 01 Awards, the UK's premier office furniture, environment and technology exhibition. Consideration in judging the award was given to functionality, design and numerous benefits offered.
	The Rotasoc power distribution system won the prestigious PRW Interplas 1999 Award for Excellence, in the Electronics / Electrical section, and runner up in the Plastic Products section. The judges were impressed by the high standard of product design and the degree of flexibility available to the user.

AML1 Active Loudspeaker The new product was launched at the Audio Engineering Society convention in New York and was immediately awarded the 'Par Excellence 1999' by Pro Audio Review Magazine for best new product at the show.

	Universal Series Furniture System Our design for an expandable fully engineered furniture system for the trading and dealing room sector is now a market leader. In 1997 the desking system was runner up in the prestigious Design Effectiveness Awards organised by the Design Business Association.

	WM30 Endoscopy Trolley is a Winner The PIP team design of the mobile workstation for the medical sector has been judged the winner in the Horners Award for plastics 1996.

	Series 5 Industrial Borescope 1995 has seen the PIP design team achieve the runner up award in the Design Effectiveness Award category.

Meeting Room Controller wins Technical Award PIP has won the best application of a membrane switch for their meeting room controller in the audio/presentation market. The award was presented in the 'Design House' category. 1990.

Pyramid Lampshades scoop Best Product Award The PIP design of the pyramid lampshade was awarded best product in the Top Drawer Giftware competition. A new look for lampshades and its innovative flat pack design were its main attributes.1984.
